Instead of creating a meditation where you listen to the traditional affirmations, I've instead chosen to speak the statements as I'm reassuring you on how amazing you are at something.
All our lives the feedback we've received from the environment is you need to improve, you need to do better, you need work on this flaw, you need to fix this about yourself, etc.
In these short meditative sessions there is a short component where I remind you how fabulous you are, how far you've come, and all the things you're doing well.
Just for a brief moment in your day, you can take a reprieve from the constant judgmental noise and you can hear someone giving you positive feedback.
If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete.
